Max Iori JD '97

Max Iori is the Chief Counsel for the Global Supplier Services organization and is Global head of Intellectual Property Law for JPMorgan. He has been with JPMorgan since 2003. Max graduated from the School of Law in 1997, and thereafter earned his MBA at University of Connecticut. Max lives in Greenwich with his wife and 6-year-old daughter Isabella and 3-year-old son Greyson.

Amy DeCesare JD '08

Amy is Assistant Vice President, Litigation Management at Allied World in Farmington, Connecticut. As part of her role, she partners with both claims analysts and defense counsel in order to ensure that all phases of litigation, including eDiscovery are conducted economically and efficiently. Amy is a frequent speaker on topics relating to litigation and technology, including litigation management and cost analytics, electronic discovery, and data security and was recently mentioned in Forbes. She is co-chair of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance's eDiscovery Committee. Amy serves on the Alumni Board of the Quinnipiac University School of Law. She is also Secretary of the Connecticut Chapter of Women in eDiscovery and is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Vincent Merola JD '07
Vin serves as in-house counsel at Subway World Headquarters, where he has worked since 2007. He focuses his practice on corporate compliance. His team oversees the statutory compliance of all entities associated with the Subway brand and its affiliated brands; and they oversee company-wide third party background investigations, records retention/management, and e-signature recognition and enforcement. Vin has participated on career panels at the School of Law and been a valued participant on the Executive Board. He looks forward to serving as Vice President.

Arunan Arulampalam JD '14
Arunan D. Arulampalam is an associate in the Hartford office of Updike, Kelly & Spellacy, P.C. where he practices in the areas of business law, healthcare law, and public finance. While in law school, Arunan served as President of the Student Bar Association and as Notes and Articles Editor of the Quinnipiac Health Law Journal.  Prior to law school, Arunan served on a number of political campaigns, and worked at the Connecticut State Capitol. Arunan lives in Hartford with his wife and four children.

Richard F. Baltimore JD '09
Richard "Ricky" Baltimore is Chief Legal Counsel to the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Connecticut General Assembly. He formerly was Chief Legal Counsel to the House Majority Leader, and before that was an Assistant Town Attorney for the Town of Hamden. Ricky was an active student leader while he was at QUSL, and has long been an active member of the Law Alumni Executive Board. He lives in West Hartford.

Jonathan Canestri JD '15
Jonathan L. Canestri is an associate at Updike Kelley and Spellacy, where he is a member of the Firm's Estate Planning, Tax, and Business Practice Groups. While in law school, Jon was recognized with the Tax Faculty Award for achievement in Tax Law and held internships in the areas of estate and trust administration and partnership, corporate and estate taxation. In addition to his law degree, Jon earned his undergraduate degree from the Quinnipiac University School of Business.

Lisa C. Dumond JD '10
Lisa Dumond owns her own firm in Prospect, Connecticut. Her practice includes family law, real estate transactions, personal injury claims, worker's compensation claims, estate administration and will preparation. Super Lawyers selected her as a Rising Star in 2014 and 2015. While in law school, Lisa was Editor-in-Chief of the Probate Law Journal, served as a Senator of the SBA, was recognized for her excellence in Constitutional Law by receiving the Cornelius Wickersham Award, as well as several other academic awards. Lisa is also an Associate Professor of Law at Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut. She has been an active member of the Law Alumni E-Board since 2013. Lisa lives in Prospect, Connecticut with her husband Tom, daughter Kelsey, who is a 1L at QUSL, and daughter Stephanie, who is attending Sacred Heart University in Fairfield.

Nicole R. Cuglietto Fernandes  JD '11
Nicole is an associate at Wilson Elser in Stamford, Connecticut. She focuses her practice in the areas of general and commercial liability. Her cases include first- and third-party liability matters, professional liability matters, coverage claims and personal injury matters. Earlier in her career, Nicole represented health care facilities in plaintiff-side collections and litigation. In addition to her JD, Nicole earned her undergraduate degree at Quinnipiac. She lives in Stamford with her husband and is a member of the Stamford Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Counsel.

Samantha (Metje) Fry JD '07
Samantha is the Caseflow Coordinator for the Foreclosure Mediation Program at Milford Superior Court. Prior to joining the mediation program in 2009, she worked as a Temporary Assistant Clerk at the same location. Before joining the Connecticut Superior Court staff, Samantha served QUSL as an Alumni Admissions Recruiter. She has also been involved with the Law Alumni Board since 2010, serving as the Secretary from 2013-2016. Samantha lives in Clinton with her husband, Kevin, and sons Nathaniel and Garrett.

Cynthia Galamgam JD '05
Cynthia is a tax manager at the firm CohnReznick LLP. She advises a wide range of business clients on state and local tax matters, including income/franchise, sales and use and gross receipts taxes. She works at the firm's Hartford office. Cynthia earned her LLM in taxation at Boston University. Prior to joining CohnReznick, Cynthia worked at Deloitte for several years. Cynthia lives in Glastonbury with her husband and their three children.

Timothy P. Jensen JD '97
Tim is a member of O'Sullivan McCormack Jensen & Bliss. He litigates business disputes in both the trial and appellate courts in state and federal court. He also has significant experience representing regulated entities in administrative proceedings before the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority, as well as subsequent appeals of the agency's decisions. Prior to joining O'Sullivan McCormack Jensen & Bliss, Tim was a partner at Tyler Cooper & Alcorn, LLP in New Haven and Hinckley Allen in Hartford. Tim has been listed as one of "Greater Hartford's Top Attorneys" by Hartford Magazine. Tim lives in Madison with his wife Amy and four kids, Gigi, Charlie, Jane and Pia.

Andrew S. Knott JD '03
Andrew practices at Knott & Knott in Cheshire, where he primarily handles probate, estate, and elder law, including special needs, along with all ancillary litigation in all courts. He has begun to dabble in consumer law, and finds it quite enjoyable. Andrew is active in many local and national bar associations and bar foundations, and is a member of the Probate Court Rules Committee.  Andrew also serves as a superior court magistrate. Outside of law, Andrew is an avid sailor and winter outdoorsman. He lives in the Spring Glen neighborhood in Hamden, Connecticut with his wife and daughter.

Amy S. Mangione JD '08
Amy is the Assistant Dean and Director of Admissions at Western New England University School of Law. She has been with the School of Law since January 2009. Amy collaborates with Law School and University administrators to develop enrollment goals and oversees all marketing, recruiting, and admissions operations as their Chief Admissions Officer. Amy has been an active member of the E-Board for years. NY's Capital District is "home" for Amy, but she divides her time with Springfield, Massachusetts and visits Connecticut regularly.

Kathy Engelman Mills JD '07
Kathy is the Associate Director of Admissions for QUSL. She represents the University at law school fairs and forums, meets with pre-law advisors and students, and plans on-campus recruiting events. Before working at Quinnipiac, Kathy worked at Fairfield University as a communications coordinator and Deloitte Tax LLP for six years as a tax manager. Kathy lives in Southbury with her husband.

Anthony Minchella JD '96
Tony is the founder and principal of Minchella and Associates, where he represents Fortune 50 financial services companies, retail giants, and small and large specialty products companies. Tony has been listed as a Connecticut and New England Super Lawyer in business litigation since 2010. Tony graduated from QUSL magna cum laude, and is an adjunct professor at the School of Law. He has been an active member of the Law Alumni Executive Board for years.

Chris R. Nelson JD '04
Chris is a founder and principal of Nelson|Votto, where he represents clients in a broad range of legal matters including both transactional work and litigation. Chris has litigated cases in Connecticut's Superior Courts, Federal Courts, Bankruptcy Courts, and Appellate Court. He has also represented clients in a number of administrative hearings before Connecticut State Agencies. Chris is very active in the legal community and has served in a number of prominent roles in both the Connecticut Bar Association and the New Haven County Bar Association. He has been an active member of the Law Alumni E-Board since 2007. He lives in Hamden, Connecticut.

Sheldon Poole JD '16
Sheldon graduated from the School of Law in May 2016, having had a very successful academic career. He completed the Health Law Concentration, was the Managing Business Editor of the Health Law Journal, and was an award-winning competing member of the Society for Dispute Resolution. Sheldon has also competed in trial competitions: in 2015 he won the National American Bar Association Competition and the award for Best Cross Examination. In 2016, his team competed and made it to Final Bench in the Texas Young Lawyers Association Regional Competition. In 2014, Sheldon was the Treasurer for the Student Bar Association and looks forward to remaining involved in the School of Law as a member of the Executive Board.

Sylvia K. Rutkowska JD '08
Sylvia is an associate at Dzialo Pickett & Allen, where she practices primarily in personal injury, civil litigation, land use and municipal law matters. She has been named a Rising Star by Connecticut Super Lawyer, a New Leader in the Law by the Connecticut Law Review, and was one of Connecticut Women's Education and Legal Fund's 40 Women for the Next 40 Years.
Sylvia is an extremely active member of numerous professional and civil associations. She was born in Poland and currently lives in Middletown.

Alyssa Vesco JD '16
Alyssa graduated from the School of Law in 2016 and also earned her undergraduate degree from Quinnipiac. Alyssa was President of the Student Bar Association and Note Editor on the Quinnipiac Law Review. Alyssa has represented QUSL as a competing member of the Moot Court Society; in 2015, she competed in the National Appellate Advocacy Competition where the team made an impressive showing. Last year, she coached the Moot Court competitors for the National Appellate Advocacy Competition. She looks forward to continuing her contact with QUSL and serving on the Law Alumni Executive Board.

Kristen Zaehringer JD '05
Kristen Zaehringer is a litigator at Murtha Cullina, where she handles complex commercial disputes and employment cases in state and federal courts in Connecticut and New York. In 2015, she was appointed to the Local Civil Rules Advisory Committee for the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.  She is a member of Connecticut Bar Association's Executive Committee for the Federal Practice Section and was named a New Leader in the Law by the Connecticut Law Tribune. In 2015 she was selected as one of Fairfield County's Top 40 Business People Under 40. She has been named by Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star" since 2013. Upon graduating from QUSL, Kristen clerked for the Honorable Dominic J. Squatrito, U.S.D.J. Kristen lives in Hamden, Connecticut and has remained in close touch with QUSL.
