An elderly Ruth is a loyal spouse who painstakingly cares for her mentally distant husband, Bert. From making him his favorite breakfast to knitting him hats, Ruth goes above and beyond to make sure Bert has all that he needs. She becomes so enveloped in her caregiving that she fails to notice a drastic change in her life.

We are a group of dedicated film majors taking their shot at making a professional film. Each member of our team has worked tirelessly to learn the ins and outs of the entertainment industry and the time has come to put that knowledge to use. We are so excited to create “Til Death” and you can be assured we will put our all into this film.

Your donations will help make the story of “Til Death” come to life. Any contribution is appreciated as it brings us a step closer to reaching our goal. Producing this film will allow us to show off our talents and all we have learned throughout our college experiences. Please help in our effort to make our senior thesis project into something truly memorable.

Thank You For Your Support!

Our film focuses on the universal feeling of love. We also hope to bring awareness to the talents of an older demographic of actors. Our goal is to share a unique story about the deep connections of love for a longtime married couple under stressed circumstances.

Matt Scoopo - Director

Matt is from East Haven, Connecticut. Ever since freshman year of highschool he has been passionate about filmmaking. Instead of pursuing it, however, he started his college career as a Graphic Design major. Soon his love of film drew him back and he switched majors during sophomore year. Now he is the director of the QNN news class and a graduate sports journalism class. He also is a camera operator for the hockey and basketball games at QU. He is ready to take this project head on and is looking forward to the completed product.

Gersain Munoz – Co-Director and Assistant Director

Gersain was born in West Haven, CT and moved to Norwalk, CT when he was 5. He joined the Marines when he was 19 in 2007 and served 4 honorable years. He is a late bloomer for college, but he brings a lot of experience. He is a proud husband and father of two.

Gabe Walerysiak- Director of Photography

Gabe was born in Meriden, CT and raised in Rocky Hill, CT. After a few years of making YouTube videos as a hobby, he slowly developed a passion for filmmaking. Since entering Quinnipiac, Gabe has been learning all about cinematography and is excited to apply his skills and stretch the boundaries of visual storytelling.

Liana DiMitri - Producer

Liana is from Staten Island, New York. She always had dreamed of becoming more involved in film and Quinnipiac offered the perfect opportunity. Back from two internships in Los Angeles, Liana is ready to apply her new skills to making "Til Death" an awesome film.

Joe Pransky - Production Designer

Joe is from Holbrook, Massachusetts. When he was looking at colleges, he was interested in sports studies. But from a young age, Joe has always had a creative imagination so once he toured Quinnipiac, he saw the School of Communication and instantly fell in love. Now he has an outlet to express his imagination.

Angela Letizia - Editor

Angie is an FTM, Communications 3+1 major from Rockland, New York. Since taking her first production class in freshman year of high school she knew that film was where she wanted to be. While at Quinnipiac she has been able to foster her love for film making and editing. At QU she is part of the film society, Q30, jazz band, theater, and works for the QNN newscast. This past spring Angie interned in Los Angeles for H2R Productions. She is excited to take everything she has learned and dive headfirst into this new project!

Aidan Finnerty - Sound Technician

Aidan is from Port Washington, NY. He is an FTM communications major with a minor in media studies and is also a member of the Men's Lacrosse team here at Quinnipiac. Growing up Aidan always looked up to his dad who works in the film industry and hopes to follow in his footsteps one day!
