Alumna crowned Miss Connecticut 2025 shines brightly with Bobcat pride

Cayla Kumar, MHS ‘25, a recent graduate of the accelerated biomedical sciences master's program, was recently crowned Miss Connecticut 2025 — a title she now proudly carries with purpose. Kumar’s win marks not only a personal achievement but also a celebration for Bobcat Nation, which she credits as being a foundation in her development as a leader, scholar and advocate.
